Similar to Trigeminal Neuralgia but ....

Post a new topicby anns1 on Mon Jun 08, 2009 6:11 pm

I have similar symptoms to Trigeminal Neuralgia however my pain is in my head and only occassionally on my face under my left eye or on my right jaw. I have excruciating pain in my head that feels like a sharp pin/knife stabbing me. It only lasts a few seconds then goes away. It happens throughout the day. Sometimes the pain is more frequent and thicker. I also get muscle twitches and the sharp pain in my legs, toes, fingers, etc. I get low grade fevers that come and go, tachycardia, high blood pressure An MRI showed that I have white matter on my brain. My 2nd MRI showed an increase in the white matter. Can anyone make a recommendation of where I can look for advice or what forum I should be looking at? Or is Trigeminal Neuralgia the same only I have it on my head.
