testicular painI have had an elusive problem for about 3 years now. Doctors seem baffled, but hey, why not give a try at this forum? After all, I've got nothing to loose - I've been having mild to moderate pain in my right testicle randomly. The pain's frequency and itensity are hard to predict. Also, I'm unable to pinpoint the exact location of the pain - I know it's somewhere on the right side, alternating between the scrotum/lower abdomen. My doctor performed a TE and a DRE and did not find anything abnormal. I had a testicular/abdominal ultrasound exam and an X-ray of the abdomen, both of which came out normal. I was also referred to a gastroenterologist who did a hernia checkup and found everything normal. A TE at the urologist's was also normal. Compared to the discomfort I was having, these tests seemed inconclusive so I went to see another urologist. A genital exam, a contrast and a non-contrast CT scan of the pelvis that followed- all were unremarkable. The urologist gave up and said it that might be a mental problem! I thought to myself - 'headaches going south...you've got to be kidding me'. Recently, I went to a different family doctor who also did a TE and found that everything was normal. Through these numerous tests over the years and reading tons of stuff online, I know that it's not orchitis, epididymitis, hydrocele cystistis, kidney stones hernia, prostatis, varicocele torsion or any other inflammation, infection or abnormality of the testicles.
Does any one else have the same symptoms? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
