I too have RSD. I have it severely in my right thumb following CNC arthroplasty where my trapezium bone was removed because of severe osteoarthritis. I am responding to your post as I started getting severe chest pains under my left breast and in my back. I have been to many doctors, but was only told to go to a chiropractor, which I did. That did not help. After reading your post, I am wondering if my RSD has moved to my chest????? My RSD, in the thumb and right hand, has seemed to calm down a bit, but every once in a while, I will have the most excruciating pains for days that I cannot even sit still. There are so few doctors who will treat someone w/ RSD. It is a shame that this developed after my already excruciating surgery and that no one seems to care. I have been in danger of losing my thumb several times and I am scared to death. I am only 39 and I do not want to lose my thumb or hand to RSD. If you hear anything about the chest pains, let me know as I could use some information too. Hope you get well soon!
