pain medications

Post a new topicby Mosey on Mon Feb 25, 2008 10:32 am

I would like to know how many of us suffering chronic pain that normal treatments are contraindicated, or not wise, or tried and with bad results or ineffective, and now have severe damage and increased dibility, suffrage, and loss of livelihood, plus many more negatives in the quest for relief from anything else in avoidance to the evil OPIOIDS? Having tried them with no ill effects, only anger for not having tried sooner, sacrificed my health, stomach, liver and kidney for which I'll die if not able to get a transplant in under 3 years.

How many have not been satisfactorily had their pain controlled and lost their family and employment before trying opioids that gave you your life back, but not the love or life's livelihood you prepared your life for?

How many when relating after having gone thru all that, honestly inform your treating physician that you'd settle for addiction if you can have even a fraction of your life back and in your control, only to be dropped as your addictive behaviors are showing? etc etc.
