Hello....The vibrations are normal and very scary. The first time it happened to me was the middle of night,I woke my husband and asked " if the bed was like vibrating or was I having a bad dream ?" Well,it was my legs.I've had neuropathy for 3 years & it sure is making an old lady out of me.Hate It. Have a great nite. Jean

oh my gosh, you don't know how happy it makes me to have someone else acknowledge what I have been feeling. I had not read anything about neuropathy and "vibrations". I was diagnosed with PN about 4 yrs. ago. It has steadily gotten worse and the past 6 months have been the worse. I used to have tingling in my feet. Then recently I started feeling these vibrations. I would tell DR's it was very different than tingling . By the time I go to bed at night it feels like my whole body is vibrating. My burning is from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. Really strange. There is no know reason why I have PN. The burning is much worse from my waist down. I am going next week, May 22nd for my trial with a spinal cord stimulator. The whole idea of this stimulator is scary to me but I am at wits end. I don't know what else to do. I am on narcotics and many other prescriptions but the pain is still too much. I can't deal with it. I am glad to have found this forum. Denise

Yes but I take 150 mg of Topamax, a seizure med to block the bad signals and the pain signals. Topamax takes time to get used to, makes your thinking a bit cloudy but the pain relief is worth it. I work full time and go to school full time. It is harder than most but can be done.
