Wow!I am reading what others have to say about neuropathy, one of my medical problems other than neurofibromatosis, and it seems I may be suffering with much of my pain because of this. I was seeing a neurologist, not the right one I guess, because after reading on this forum I find he should have never released me without correcting the problem. I have gained so much weight because I can't exercise, I can't even walk a good mile before my ankle, legs, and lower back began to hurt so bad I have to quit. I can't stand for long periods of time, it is even painful to sit here and type this message. I was given cymbalta, neurotin, and some other meds, but none of them eased my pain, not even a little. so the doctor stopped me, saying if they didn't work within the 30 days I took them they probably wouldn't, so he released me, telling me I should see a chronic pain doctor. Due to no insurance I have been doing some suffering. I will try some cod liver oil, fish oil =, adn evening primrose and hope I get some relief, thanks for sharing that!
