Re: STRESSED OUT MOMHi, I am 43 years old and I have had migraines and bad headaches since I was about 7 years old.
I am wondering have you taken your son to a neurologist? It seems like you have to go right to the specialist these days to get any answers. I understand magnesium helps with migraines. Can you get him a magnesium supplement. I find that they help me. I took imitrex for migraines but I react badly to that stuff. The only other thing that works for me is excedrin but I wouldn't give aspirin to a kid that's whats in excedrin. Have you tried ibuprofen and how does it work? I feel for your son . I have suffered my entire life with these. Mine are gettign bad now because of my hormones and being in my 40's. Does anyone else in the family suffer from them? Has he ever had an mri or cat scan? I would go to neurologist. Tammy
