Stent removed but still in painHi all! Newbe here. At the beginning of June, I discovered (well the ER doctor discovered) that I had a 5mm stone. Had the laser surgery to break up the stone and had a stent put in. A week later, had the stent removed, which was NOT FUN AT ALL! I am still in a bit of pain but the pain isn't in my back where the stent was, it's really when I go to the bathroom (sorry for the details) If anyone out there has had any pain weeks after the stent was removed, please let me know if this is normal. Thanks!!
Re: Stent removed but still in painNo not normal. Call your doctor. If you have a fever, stronger pain, blood in urine or other symptoms go to ER immediately.

Re: Stent removed but still in painI did go see my doctor and he told me that it was normal to be in a little bit of pain. I do not have a fever and there is no blood in my urine. The pain is when I urinate and sometimes when I am just sitting down or walking. It's nothing like the pain that I was in when I had the stone. Thanks for the help!!!
