I have suffered with severe IC for over 3 years. I am 48 years old, and urinate at least 40 times per day. I am awakened at least 7 times during the night. I have an InterStem Implant to help ease the pain, but even though I have had the settings adjusted many times, it barely works. I currently live on pain meds, all other medication has proven ineffective. I am waiting for medical science to catch up with this illness.
