hi, my names ella im 16 and four months ago i was diagnosed with IC i didnt even know what it was. I began needing to constantly go to the bathroom and feeling worried and nerves all the time, i was like this for five months before i was even diagnosed. I read your post and I know how you feel. However, you must remember there are many effective treatments out there that do relieve symptoms. Some take longer than others to start to work. Also, there are many people out there that were once overwhelmed by their symptoms but now are doing fine. I think you'll find many of the people that post stuff (not all) are in a flare or are just finding out what the disease is all about. Over time symptoms will calm down and you'll regain normalcy once again....
