toe pain

Post a new topicby daniel49 on Tue May 20, 2008 3:26 am

have had trouble with pain in my toes.
They seem to be very sensative to being bent upwards.
In the last year have injured them by
1)rocking back on my toes while kneeling at work.
2)walking on uneven ground where the toes are bent back, such as stepping into a small hole.
3)using my toes to help get my boots off without bending down.

Upon doing the said actions usually the big toe on one or both feet would hurt so bad , I could barely put weight on it.
Usually bulk of pain would go away in 2- 24 hours.
sometimes I would hear or feel a small pop like something had popped back into place and the pain would stop.

While the bulk of pain goes away there is lingering pain..ie where it is easily aggravated by something as minor as pushing on something or standing up on my toes, or walking very fast.

Am thinking about visiting my poditrist, doesnt seem to be improving after a year of this.
