negative urinalysis

Post a new topicby mikentiff on Wed Sep 26, 2007 3:43 pm

i posted something yesterday but haven't had a response. my husband had a vasectomy reversal eight days ago and has had major pain and swelling. urinalysis was negative but wbc was 11.4. he is on antibiotics and still taking alot of pain meds around the clock. could this be epididymitis and if so will it ruin the reversal? also what can be done for additional relief? i will also add he hasn't had a fever but there is some bruising, one side is way worse than the other and there is blood and pus at the insicion site.

I responded to this post telling you that your husband should be examined by his urologist, it could be an infection or just postop inflammation
