Post a new topicby bigmaccheese on Sat Mar 29, 2008 9:37 pm

I have had pain it seems like forever, I have degenerative disc disease, which affects my whole spine, but lately have been having leg spasms, the Dr. has given me Myrapex for RLS, I also take Neurotin for leg and foot problems, have started taking quinine pills but I am still having these leg spasms which interrupt my sleep and make me so tired, I have type 2 diabetis, I am overweight, have had 2 total knees, if someone can help me I would really appreciate it, Thanks Bigmaccheese

I have continual muscle movement in my legs and tremors in my hands and head. My neurologist today told me it was related to chronic intractable pain which is causing chronic anxiety.

I was recently told about spinal cord stimulators (SCS). I don't know if they would help for you, but if you haven't talked to your doctor about it you might want to if there is a possibility it could help. I'm still looking in to them and learning more everyday. People I have talked to about them report anywhere from a 20-30% reduction in pain to 90-99% reduction. I know they don't work for everyone, but just that possibility sparks my interest. If you want I can give you more information about it.
