Chronic pain is depressing

It all started about 12 years ago when my husband was in an auto accident. He fractured vertebrae in his neck. At the time, he took volumes of Vicodin and had injections in his neck by a pain management doctor. Over the years, the neck vertebrae healed, but he still complained of pain.
